At the beginning of the year there was still a lull in the crypto market. However, Bitcoin and altcoins. were able to improve significantly again in 2023. Distinctive trends are now emerging that dominate the market. This fact is also noticed by artificial intelligence, which as a result recommends a handful of specific coins to investors.

ChatGPT advises interested parties to invest in five cryptocurrencies. The chatbot rates Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) as the safest investments . The two front runners are established and are considered to be the main players in the market.

“Some investors view established cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) as relatively safe options due to their widespread use and recognition,” explains ChatGPT.

In general, the crypto market is very volatile and difficult to predict, notes ChatGPT. Due to technical changes, a trend reversal that was not previously noticeable could occur unexpectedly quickly.

New trend points to Ethereum alternatives

ChatGPT noticed a new trend pointing towards Ethereum alternatives over the last few weeks. The largest smart contract platform Ethereum (ETH) rose by around five percent in the last seven days.

Solana (SOL) gained significantly more during the same period. The currently fourth largest of all coins has gained five percent since yesterday alone, while the weekly trend shows an increase of 70 percent.

“It might be worth exploring promising projects with innovative technology and real-world applications such as Polkadot (DOT), Solana (SOL) or Cardano (ADA),” writes ChatGPT.

Polkadot is also currently writing dark green numbers. In the weekly trend, DOT rose by 40 percent. Cardano also benefited from the enthusiasm for Ethereum competitors. However, in the weekly trend, ADA performs rather mediocre at +8.20 percent.

AI ignores these developments

Despite recent successes, Avalanche (AVAX) fell through the cracks of ChatGPT. Currently in ninth place, AVAX gained around 21 percent in the last seven days. Avalanche is also a smart contract platform.

ChatGPT did not recommend memecoins like Bonk. Even the recent rush for BRC-20 tokens and ordinals left no trace on the AI. As a result of the development, Stacks (STX), a layer 2 solution for Bitcoin, has risen by 32 percent over the last seven days.

These are the top cryptos according to Google Bard

Google Bard provides slightly different results. Bitcoin and Ethereum are also at the center of this AI. However, the findings then differ. Bard recommends BNB, currently the fifth largest cryptocurrency, which was overtaken by Solana in the weekly trend despite 12 percent gains.

Solana doesn’t even appear among Bard’s top five recommendations. Instead, Google’s artificial intelligence recommends Cardano and Polkadot.

Solana only considers Bard as a sixth option. In seventh place is Polygon (MATIC), followed by Avalanche. Bard’s focus is also clearly on smart contract platforms. XRP and Dogecoin did not make it to the list.
