HIVE Digital Targets 25 EH/s Bitcoin Mining

HIVE Digital Technologies aims to increase its Bitcoin mining capacity to 25 EH/s by Q4 2025, after surpassing 10 EH/s in May 2025. The initiative is powered by a new hydroelectric facility in Paraguay.

HIVE’s expansion to 25 EH/s represents a strategic push to increase Bitcoin output and lessen production costs, influenced by renewable energy use. The Paraguay facility plays a key role in this growth plan.

Frank Holmes and Aydin Kilic spearhead HIVE Digital’s transformation towards a goal of 25 EH/s, currently producing 5 BTC daily. Kilic stated, “Crossing 10 EH/s has already lifted our daily production to over 5 BTC. With our fleet targeting 18 EH/s this summer, we’re on track to exceed 8 BTC per day. With 25 EH/s by Q4, we expect to produce over 12 BTC per day and lower our production cost to under…” The focus remains solely on Bitcoin, with renewable energy ensuring operational sustainability.

The hydro-powered facility supports HIVE’s sustainable growth, enhancing Bitcoin production to more than 139 BTC monthly. Reduction in production costs ties directly to HIVE’s operational strategy.

By maintaining a 100 MW facility, HIVE scales its operations, capitalizing on renewable resources. Such actions are pivotal as the firm aims for increased Bitcoin productivity and market influence. Regulatory updates support its transparent operational model.

HIVE’s emphasis on hydroelectric power positions it as a leader in sustainable mining. This focus resonates with stakeholders prioritizing environmental, social, and governance factors. Future developments might impact Bitcoin’s market dynamics.
